We have been developing the Chinese market Since 2011 through several partnership models with several distributors.
In 2019, due to the rapid, constant evolution of the market as well as the ever-changing Chinese regulatory landscape, we faced some difficulties in identifying the steps to further enhance our Chinese market footprint, define a clear partnership strategy, and outline a clear roadmap to secure our organisation in China. At the same time we were encountering delays in finalizing several Class III medical device registration dossiers.

Based on the advice of our internal Chinese Project Manager, we decided to hire VVR Medical and conduct a mission during several months in order to accompany us on the following:
- Understand the new purchasing organization of spine implants set by Chinese Health Authorities
- Define the best strategy to prepare and answer this new process
- Study and define the best distributor to access this business
- Define a clear pricing and partnership strategy
- Select an efficient CRO, clarify and solve regulatory issues

As of today, VVR Medical has achieved its work: the experienced and fully dedicated team fulfilled a complex mission requiring multiple operational skills (scientific, technical, regulatory, commercial, supply chain…) from different experienced consultants based in China and in France, and I can say we are very satisfied with their work.

I had the chance to be introduced to China’s most prominent clinical specialist in next-generation oncology diagnostics by VVR Medical, as part of an all-encompassing China market entry mission.

Together with VVR Medical, we then initiated a first-in-the-world clinical proof of concept study for our new range of immune status-based in vitro diagnostics, whose results are changing the way immunotherapy is administered to lung cancer patients. VVR Medical team was instrumental in getting this study on track and ensuring its timely completion.

Then VVR Medical helped us formulate and implement our China strategy, including setting up Mainland China and Hong Kong legal entities, identifying the right distribution partner for our products, and supervising CRO work up to market authorization.

We strongly believe we are on the path to China success with VVR Medical’s support.


VVR International helped us to understand the skills, working model, weakness, expectation of our Chinese Distributor, then in the negotiation of the transfer of the exclusive contract and certification, from our previous distributor to this new distributor.

Together with VVR Medical, we have been able to define and set up the best organization in China, involving EUROS China, an Agent, A Master importer, and a « Sales distributor » with the right KOL.

We are very grateful to VVR for the efficiency and support during the whole project.


Our company SCALEO Medical is a French leading company in e-therapy solutions in the prevention of risks and the treatment of cardio-respiratory pathologies in all medical specialities.

We have been working with VVR International company to set up our WOFE trading company in China and get the necessary license to be able to import, store and distribute medical equipment from Europe.

I have been very impressed by the professionalism of their team as well as their reactivity. They have been able to register the company in a short term and succeed in getting the license which, as I know, is a very difficult task today in China.

We are still working with them today on the following topics:
- recruitment and incubation of our China Sales Manager,
- sales administrative support (edition and follow-up of the PO),
- pirchasing administrative support (follow-up of suppliers),
- full accounting services for our Hong Kong and Chinese companies.
